I work at a building on Bishop Square downtown, and as I was driving into work this morning (09/24/08) I noticed film crews at the corner of King and Alakea. As I drove by I saw Jack's truck parked on one side of the street, and Kate's Volvo on the other side. Evangeline Lilly was sitting in her car, and Fox was standing next to the truck as traffic was let through. I parked my car really quick in my garage, and ran down to walk by the filming. Essentially, Jack was parking his truck, got out and walked over to Kate parked across the street. I took some shots (attached), but they were from my camera phone, so they aren't the best, sorry. But you can definitely make out Jack's truck and Kate's car, and in the forth picture you can see Jack (between the trees with his head turned).

I saw them filming yesterday right off Paiea St. by the Honolulu Airport. I got to watch just a bit and I saw Sayid & Ben in a van that had _________ Rainier Carpet Cleaning written on the side, ( Sorry, I can't remember the first part). Sayid was driving & Ben was sitting shot gun. Sayid had on a white tank top with long pants & Ben wore a dark long sleeve shirt & long dark pants. Both were dressed very casually.

The van drove up a ramp into to a covered parking area followed by a black BMW 740 Both cars had California license plates. The crew kept spraying both car with water to make it look like they had come driving in from the rain. The BMW was driven by a chauffer & in the back seat was a person (I think male) with white hair and they were not tall. The car had tinted windows so I couldn't see much of the person in the back seat.

Inside the parking structure the van pulled into an empty parking space & the BMW followed them up the ramp & pulled in the opposite way so that the cars were side by side but facing opposite directions.

They filmed a scene with the chauffer talking to Ben through the vans' window.

Jack was also there. He had on a tank top & jeans. His hair was long & messy & he had a full beard with a band-aid over his eye. He looked liked he did in last season's finale.

Didn't see any interaction with Jack & the others while I was there but he must be in the scene somehow if he was at that location.

It looked like whoever was in the back seat of the BMW had white hair & was a male. I asked one of the guys on the set if it was Charles Widmore & he said no but then he said it was a new character & he wanted me to be surprised when I watched it. But he said it with a sly smile so I don't really know if I believe him. He also said they were filming this scene for episode 4 and it should be airing about the 2nd week in February.

dweisspt used to pass them filming on his way to work all the time. I don't think they film on his route anymore, though.

Was the first word on the truck "Mount"? Mount Rainier is in northern Cali, so it would make sense. Of course, Prince Ranier was the former head of Monaco, so it could be named after him I suppose to add some European intrigue. Especially since Sayid and Ben seem to be traveling to knock off targets, Monaco is rather well-heeled and would be a cool place to put a target in. Some Bond films have used Monaco as well.

No the first word wasn't Mount. It was like two last names & I think the first name started with a "C" , but I'm not sure.

I didn't write it down because I didn't think I'd forget it. Kinda embarrasing!! I didn't want to take any pictures with my phone because they let us get pretty close up to watch and if we started taking pictures I know we would have been asked to leave.

I'll ask my friend who was with me if she remembers it and if she does I'll let you know. Could be an anagram for something I guess.

Yes, it was 2 last names as the name of the carpet cleaning company. Sheesh, I am so sorry I forgot the first name.

They might be filming - I am just going to work at 5:00am and not leaving till 8:00pm. If they are filming I am not seeing it.

Sigh!

Hopefully I will stumble on them soon.
