What did you read in 2009?

What did you read in 2009?

Dean Koontz - Winter Moon, Your Heart Belongs to Me
Mary/Carol Higgins Clark - Dashing Through the Snow
Stephen King - The Running Man
James Patterson - Sail

I read a lot more, but can't even think of then, that's how little imprint they made on me.

The Twilight series, some Vonnegut, some Christopher Moore, some random stuff.

I didn't get NEARLY as much reading done this year as I'd have liked. I've got at least 15 books I've not gotten to yet. Working nights just keeps me so damn tired, as soon as I lay down to read (I like laying down to read lol) I just wanna sleep.

Re: What did you read in 2009?

I'm determined to fit in "Crazy for the Storm" before the end of the year. Probably my holiday-travelling book.

I almost finished reading FlashForward, and I read 'The Death of Bunny Monroe', but that's about it.

*cough*

I actually keep a list in a notebook, I'm such a nerd. I'll look when I get home from work, and see if I can figure out when 2009 began. It's a big list.

Kafka's "The Metamorphisis"

for the third time. & it's still the most depressing (yet not) novels of all time.

I feel like a bug.

Re: What did you read in 2009?

I read so much, there would be no way to remember them all. Some memorable ones that left an impression:

Twilight
New Moon
Eclipse
Breaking Dawn
The Host
(all by Stephenie Meyer)
The Other Boelyn Girl (Phillipa Gregory)
Katherine
Green Darkness (both by Anya Seton)
Through A Glass Darkly (Karen Koen or something like that)
Forever Amber
The Help
The Lace Reader
The Awakening
The Struggle
The Reader
Let the Right One In
The Birthing House
A few of the True Blood series

that's all I can think of right now

Ok, I've checked the notebook, and from where I think 2009 starts (based on the title of a book I got for my birthday in Dec, but am sure I didn't start until the new year), there are 54 book listed. And that doesn't even count books I reread, which I only list the first time, and I can think of at least 5 of those, but there's possibly more.

I should do that too. My list would be long. I read 2-4 a week depending on what sport season I'm in.
